If someone asked for my Graphic Design portfolio, I would simply pull out my phone and show the Instagram page of our school's K-Pop Club. That's how confident I am about my past experience with Graphic Design.
I wanted this club to have a cute image and personality that's easy to replicate and looks iconic by itself. I think I succeeded in doing so!
What if I told you that I only used Google Drawing to create almost all the posts I was responsible for? Would you believe me?
You can see the quality of Google Drawing in some of my posts, but it looks so vibrant for the most part.
Inspired by f(x)'s physical album, I wanted to create a story that embodies a cassette in K-Pop Club's aesthetic. I honestly believe I accomplished such, and it looks so cute!
During Junior year's virtual weeks, I remember watching Kep1er's highlight medley for the album they were releasing instead of paying attention in my AP Psychology class. I spent my lunch break afterward to create this, and it trned out pretty cool. It looks as if I ripped a page from their book and personalized it for K-Pop Club!
As simple as this design is, I literally ripped a paged from their book and personalized it for K-Pop Club! I remember making this design in one lunch period, and it turned out pretty well.
The album's also very good too, if you're wondering.
I also take pride in running ASA's Instagram page! It's hard to create an image for ASA without seeming too stereotypically asian, so I tried to personalize it to fit the personalities behind the cabinet.
My personal favorite part is the cabinet member introductions that I got to play around with. I drew little atmospheres for every cabinet member so that it suits their personality. I really enjoyed how it worked out, especially Selina's!
I was very involved in the school's Arts Academy as a performer, a student, even a personality! You can find me in these projects:
I played the Quads for Band, and Timpani for the Orchestra. It was definitely something...
I'm in K-Pop Multicultural as the very-tall dude wearing a Twitch windbreaker and purple sweats!
I was a judge. It doesn't really count, but I was still involved in it!
I found zombies in a classroom and almost [BLEEP] my pants (I survived btw).
I played the Quads for Band, and Timpani for the Orchestra. It was definitely something, again...
I'm in K-Pop Multicultural as the very-tall dude wearing a black tank and camo sweats!
